It should be special, which is why I make every item you see here from start to finish – receiving the spark of an idea and transforming it into what it wants to become.
I am moved by nature, art, travel, love…things that for me are like oxygen. Each of the places around the world I’ve called home–the rugged coast of Portugal, the busy streets of Paris, and now the wild mountains of Virginia–are etched in me and inform my work. I take in the beauty of the world all around us and let it guide my hand at the bench.
