MY CUSTOM PROCESS

AN INTIMATE JOURNEY

Personal and Custom Made just for you

A custom designed piece is very personal. It embodies intention and memory, hopes and sentimentality. While new, it quickly becomes a cherished heirloom to be enjoyed now and into the future should you choose to pass it along through generations to come.

Every detail, from your choice of metals and gemstones to the completely unique design, is customized to your preferences and vision.

YOUR DREAM PIECE IN FIVE STEPS

1) REQUEST AN APPOINTMENT

Start by clicking the button below and filling out the form to give me a sense for what you want to create. If you have ideas, notes, sketches, a pinterest board, or any visual inspiration you may have collected along the way, send those along to help us align on your vision.

2) MEET WITH ME

Whether in person, over the phone or video chat, we’ll talk for about 30 minutes to identify the scope of your project. If it seems like a fit for us to work together, I’ll invite you to a design consultation.

Should you choose to move forward with me, I charge a $500.00 design consultation fee that will be applied towards the final project in order to move on to the next phase.

It's personal

A custom designed piece is very personal. It holds a significant sentimental value, making it a cherished heirloom that will be passed down through generations to come.

Custom made
just for you

Every detail, from the choice of metals and gemstones to the overall design, is customized with your story and personal details.

The Journey

You will follow the journey of your custom designed piece of jewelry. From an idea, to the sketches, to a hand carved wax model that you get to try on before receiving the beautiful, finished piece.

3) DESIGN CONSULTATION

Once you’ve paid the $500.00 design consultation fee, we’ll meet again for 1-2 hours to discuss at length the purpose of your piece, its special meaning, the personal details you want to convey and wearability concerns.

With the information from this meeting, I will create design proposals for your review.

4) PROPOSALS, DEPOSIT & FINAL ADJUSTMENTS

You will then receive a document with design choice sketches and estimates for each of the options. Each proposal will outline the details of the project, materials, sizes, and cost.

Once you’ve reviewed the proposals, you will choose the design you like and pay a 50% deposit. At this point, you will be able to make small adjustments to the designs, but once the actual creation of the piece begins, you will not be allowed any other changes (without incurring a change order fee), so this is a crucial decision moment.

Your design will then go into production.

5) TIMING, UPDATES & DELIVERY

Production times vary from 6-16 weeks depending on the complexity of the project and on your spot in my production schedule.

Because I do all the work myself, from start to finish, I keep a tight series of benchmarks to ensure you receive your finished piece when you need it. I will send you updates on the creation of your piece, either by email or in person if you are able to come to my atelier.

Change orders, requests or delays due to the client and beyond my control may mean that the piece is not completed on time. Therefore prompt responses to any questions I may have and clear communication will help ease the process.

Once completed, the balance of your project’s fee will be due and must be paid to receive your new piece. You can either pick it up in person or I will ship it to you insured.
